Joe Biden To Trump: Step Up And Get This Right

While America continues to reel from the coronavirus epidemic, Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee, has some tips for the President.

In true ‘President In Waiting’ fashion, Former Vice President Joe Biden has criticized President Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus. He blasted the tone of the President’s daily press conferences, all while re-inserted himself into the debate about the pandemic with a statement he made from his home.

“These briefings are an important opportunity to inform and reassure the am public. They are not a place for political attacks or to lash out at the press,” Biden said in his live stream.

The epidemic may have upended his campaign for the presidency, but former Vice President Joe Biden re-emerged in the public eye to address his supporters openly for the first time in almost a week on Monday.  He called upon the President to move faster to contain the pandemic.

“Trump keeps saying he’s a wartime president. Well, start to act like one,” Biden implored the President from his  Delaware home.

“We need to get in motion – get in motion today what we should have set in motion weeks ago,” Biden said.

“Let me be clear: Donald Trump is not to blame for the coronavirus, but he does bear responsibility for our response and I, along with every American, hope he steps up and starts to get this right,” said Biden, the frontrunner to challenge President Donald Trump in the November general election. “No, this isn’t about politics. This is simply too much at stake, too many lives, too many livelihoods, too many homes and families and businesses and communities at risk.”

Biden also urged Trump to make use of the Defence Production Act so that the country is adequately armed with all the necessary supplies for defeating this epidemic.
