People, funding and the public record

Who runs Election.org

Built by Jackson Jesionowski. Operated by Election Powerhouse, Inc. Our mission is to make critical thinking, transparency and participation easier.

The people behind the work

Jackson Jesionowski founded Election.org and leads its development. For platform questions, page claims or improvements, email jackson@election.org. Campaign and communications services are a separate commercial offering; Anthony Anderson is the contact listed on those service pages.

How the work is funded

We currently operate at a loss. Voluntary reader support helps keep the public tools free while we build and expand them. Stripe payments go to Election Powerhouse, Inc. We do not promise a tax deduction.

Election.org also offers merchandise and campaign services. Purchases and services have their own terms. A gift to Election.org supports this platform; it is not a contribution to a candidate or PAC.

Public facts and commercial services

Candidate, official and committee pages use the public sources cited with each record. Payment does not purchase a favorable ranking, endorsement or a change to reported facts. The same source and correction standards apply to clients and other public records.

Page sponsorship funds research into official donation links for that particular page. It does not verify the link by itself. Reader gifts shown on the page-support leaderboard do not establish candidate support or a political endorsement.

Sources, coverage and corrections

Each connected dataset keeps its original source and coverage date. Filing records, certified ballots, polls, markets and results describe different things. Missing data does not mean zero, and a filing does not establish ballot qualification.

We review corrections against the underlying source. Campaigns can request changes from their official email address, with supporting links. We do not publish private contact or payment details as evidence.
