Candidate shares are recalculated against affirmative votes and all ballots because the source-reported percentage field is not denominator-consistent across every district endpoint. The original percentage remains in each district candidate record for auditability.
The 24 displayed district endpoints do not sum to the source's national endpoint. Election.org publishes both source layers and the difference without assigning it to an electorate or ballot class. The official portal separately states that overseas and incarcerated-elector results are not included; this adapter does not assume that statement explains the endpoint difference.
