About this system
Official NPC sources distinguish directly elected specified lower-level people's congresses from higher-level congresses elected by the congress below; 35 electoral units elect the National People's Congress, which selects or decides specified state leadership roles.
No invented arrows. A line is published only when an attached constitution or official institution explicitly supports the relationship. An institution source by itself does not justify an inferred line.
