About this system
Japan's House of Representatives publishes an unusually clear official checks-and-balances model: voters elect the National Diet (Japan's parliament) and review Supreme Court justices; the National Diet designates the Prime Minister and can pass no-confidence; the Cabinet appoints judges and may dissolve the House; courts review constitutionality.
No invented arrows. A line is published only when an attached constitution or official institution explicitly supports the relationship. An institution source by itself does not justify an inferred line.
